We are seeking 2 Procurement Specialists who will report to the Regional Purchasing Director and work as part of our Procurement team.  One role will manage the strategic purchase of raw materials, equipment and services from local and overseas suppliers while the second role will manage the procurement of pharmaceutical dosage form products from third party suppliers.

 

Fundamental to both roles will be well developed negotiation skills and a proven track record in managing key suppliers, an understanding of supplier development and the ability to formulate and implement initiatives consistent with Alphapharm’s strategic direction.  The ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders in relation to purchasing projects in order to achieve the best possible overall outcome for Alphapharm, whilst taking ownership in delivering results through the proactive application of your previous knowledge and experience, and excellent relationship building skills will be paramount to your success.

 

You will be tertiary qualified, commercially oriented with 3-5 years procurement experience in a similar role, highly professional with an understanding of the needs of customers to achieve maximum satisfaction, project management experience, great attention to detail and a team player. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment will be a distinct advantage.
